Roxanne Tsui

Managing Partner, Strategy & Insights

As a 2nd generation Chinese-Canadian, Roxanne's unique bi-cultural identity drives her cross-cultural understanding of the Chinese consumer. Her experience with Cossette Communications and Microsoft Canada enables her to implement diligent planning processes of mainstream marketing to the niche discipline of multicultural marketing. With a global vision but grassroots expertise, Roxanne empowers brand owners to penetrate the Chinese markets in Canada and China.

Roxanne also serves as the Co-Chair of the Multicultural Marketing SIG with the American Marketing Association (Toronto Chapter).

Dolly Shao

Managing Partner, Business Development

Bringing 10 years of marketing and strategic planning experience from China, Dolly is a strategic individual with an abundance of both industry and cultural expertise. Besides her professional life, Dolly has passion for writing. She has been a columnist for a variety of newspapers and magazines in Shanghai for 8 years. Currently, she is an independent blogger, submitting articles about workplace dynamics at a leading Chinese HR website.

Dolly has successfully obtained her IMBA from the Schulich School of Business.

Ashley Ching

Strategic Planner

You name it and she will make it happen. Known for her versatility, Ashley fuses creativity with business when strategic planning for campaigns. She is a graduate of Ivey Business School and also has background in Chemical Engineering from Western University. When she has spare time in between running errands, Ashley also works as a freelance makeup & hair artist alongside filming videos for her YouTube channel.

Ernest Chan

Account Executive

Enthusiastic, hard-working and constantly looking for ways to improve, Ernest is a Communications and Business graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Having deeply influenced by the strong people culture at Laurier, Ernest recognizes the importance of fostering relationships which had led him to great success in banking, sales and the customer service industry prior to joining Sensu.

His holistic approach to human interaction enables him to better understand his clients in order to empower brands and embrace diversity.

Lastly, Ernest would like to see his hometown Toronto Raptors become NBA Champions in his lifetime.

Adventurous and diligent, Dawn is the most energetic one at Sensu Communications Inc. who continuously challenges to push herself out of her comfort zone, all while having a big smile on her face.

With her Bachelor of Administrative Studies Degree specializing in Management from York University, and her extensive experiences in hosting large scale public events, Dawn has applied her education and expertise to help organizations develop strategic public relations and event management plans. Dawn’s passion for embracing culture and diversity is what attracted her to the fast-paced multicultural marketing agency world and is what continues to motivate her to keep learning and working within this industry.

Di Wang

Project Co-ordinator

Devoting to being a global citizen, Di has great passion on people with diverse backgrounds and multicultural insights. Fascinated by experiencing the origin of western civilization, Di took a gap year in Germany learning a most well-know “scientific” language while measuring the Europe with her own feet. Prior to living in Canada, Di had years’ experience accumulated in top agencies in China, working with integrated teams to help big name clients thrive in a dynamic market. Staying curious and keeping hungry, Di has acquired her MBA with flying colors and continues her multicultural journey forwards.

Kenzie Zou

Interactive Co-ordinator

With a background in architectural design and visual arts, Kenzie has a passion for all design-related things. Right now she is focusing on pursuing a degree in user experience design.

Esme Lei

Interactive Co-ordinator

Graduated from Vanier College in Montreal, Esme decided to further her graphic design education at OCAD University in Toronto. With background in analogue photography and film studies, she has a critical and conceptual approach to create effective design. Her appreciation for the old time and craftsmanship gives the digital designs she creates a touch of warmth. When Esme is not hunching over her laptop trying make deadline, she finds her zen in creating calligraphy, letterpress prints, studying philosophy, catching up with films and, of course, critiquing them.

Eugene Chan

Creative Director

Having studied Computer Science at the University of Western Ontario, Eugene once thought he would become a computer guru…but turns out he is a much better creative type of guy.

Eugene first began his career at JWT as an Art Director, winning national recognition and awards for some of his mainstream brand campaigns. Currently, he is not only the Principal of his own design house, Orangy & Sweet, but also shares a piece of his creative mind to the popular demands of his strategic agency partners in Canada and China.

In times where inspiration is dull, Eugene has a rather unique method to reinvigorate his creative soul - scotch whisky.

Wilfred Chung

Digital Strategist

Wilfred's definitely a thinker. He brings to every project his unique analytical skills, combined with an apparently bottomless pool of technical know-how. Originally educated to be an economist at the University of Western Ontario, Wilfred had a change of heart after graduating and decided to devote his life to design, especially web and interactive presentations. His talent has proved that he embraced the right choice. We won't comment on his decision to take up Korean lessons.

Skip Sigel

Partner, Rosenzweig & Co.

Skip Sigel is a Partner with Rosenzweig & Company. He brings deep leadership experience in business, executive recruitment, law, and philanthropy.

Prior to joining Rosenzweig & Company, Skip was a Senior Client Partner at Korn/Ferry International, where he focused his recruitment initiatives on technology, telecommunications and media, as well as sustainability programs within the renewable energy sector. He has a broad practice and extensive relationships across every sector.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, he served as General Counsel to Commercial Alcohols Inc., Canada's largest producer of fuel ethanol and industrial/beverage grade alcohol. Before this, Skip was a senior partner with Baker & McKenzie, the world's largest international law firm. During his tenure there, he participated as a partner in the firm's senior global management committees and co-founded its Toronto office.

Mr. Sigel has lectured extensively at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto, and at the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an executive professor in residence at the Schulich School of Business at York University and a lecturer in International Strategic Planning in the School's IMBA Program.

Mr. Sigel holds a bachelor's degree in economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor of laws/juris doctor degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto.

Theo Peridis

Director, York Consulting Group

Dr. Theo Peridis is the Chair of the Strategic Management and Policy Area at the Schulich School of Business, where he is also the the Director of the Global Leadership Program. He has taught at graduate and executive education programs in Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. He has published a number of books, academic and practitioner articles on issues pertaining to industry structures, corporate diversification, mergers and acquisitions, innovation and management of technology based firms.

Prof. Peridis has worked with many companies in North America, Europe and Asia as an advisor on strategic management issues such as on structuring and managing their strategic alliances and acquisitions. Companies he has worked with range from major corporations such as American Express, General Electric, SAP, DuPont, Warner Lambert, Bombardier, Bell Canada, Deutsche Bank, Rogers Communications, and Ontario Hydro to small high-tech firms such as Microbix, Metalink, and Photovac. He has also participated in government advisory committees and subcommittees on industrial policy and competitiveness in health and technology.

Theo has received numerous awards and distinctions from national and international bodies for his work. He was named “Best in Class” by Canadian Business magazine and was voted “Professor of the Year” by the Joint Kellogg-Schulich EMBA program. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Athens, a M.A. in Management Science from the University of Kent, a M.Phil. in Management and a Ph.D. in Strategy from New York University. He is a Fellow of the Eastern Academy of Management and an International Fellow of AIM Research Institute in the UK.

Karen Auslander

Karen has 25+ years of business experience within the global healthcare and consumer communications areas with her areas of expertise in strategy, marketing and management. She previously served as the President of one of Canada's largest health care focused strategic and marketing firms which gave her great insight into the health care sector at many levels both in Canada and globally. Karen has used her strong entrepreneurial drive to complement organization growth and business development responsibilities. A recognized business leader with strong problem solving skills and the demonstrated ability to deliver innovative solutions that have influenced the growth of people and organizations. Karen is currently Co-Founder and President of ADDvance Treatment Centres - an integrated, multidisciplinary ADHD clinic that provides assessment, treatment and ongoing management support to individuals of all ages with ADHD.

Frank Chen

Innovation & Growth Consultant

Frank Chen has over 20 years of experience in marketing research and branding , having worked with a variety of clients ranging from multinational companies such as Johnson and Johnson to top tier Chinese companies such as Huawei.

In 1992, Frank first founded Diagaid Marketing Research, which later grew to become the largest and most preferred local research firm in China.

Frank is the strategic engine behind the success of Interbrand China. Having spearhead its official opening in 2002 as the CEO, Frank has driven business growth from scratch to its current place as the leading brand consultancy in China.

Currently, Frank serves as the Special Brand Advisor to the World Wild Fund for Nature, Strategic Consultant of the Advertising Department of China Central Television, Brand Consultant at the Management School of Fudan University. He is also an active lecturer of strategic management for MBA students in several business schools of top Asia universities.

Frank is a PH.D in Psychology from Beijing Normal University and EMBA from China Europe International Business School.
